Getting around to some business finally....

The past few months have been crazy.  Haven't been able to do as much photo work as I would have liked, and haven't done as much as the same time as last year. But it's been a pretty good year so far in that our son Mark David is really starting to develop his own little personality and will soon be 2 years old! He has really kept us busy.  Hard to believe two years have went by that fast.  He's definitely a little dude!  He's also still my favorite model to use for photos!

But July is going to be good.  July 2nd is the 1st annual Red, White, and Bluegrass Festival which I get the pleasure to cover. I didn't create the ad but it looks great! Spearheaded by my wife Kayla, who recently got promoted to Promotional Chair of the Perryville Main Street Programs board and put on by the Perryville Main Street Program.  She really enjoys helping out the community and sometimes tries to tackle too much but you can't restrain a caring and helping soul such as hers.  I really hope it will take off and be well received like her idea of the Christmas Bazaar that had it's first, and successful event this past December.

July 15 and 16th is my little sisters wedding, which I have the 'good' fortune of being the photographer for.  LOL. It's making me a nervous wreck contemplating the job.  I love she's trusted me with preserving the day through the lens but it worries me in that I REALLY REALLY do not want to screw it up!!  Haha.  I guess I'm being silly about it, but it's going to be a relaxed outdoor wedding at the beautiful Acres of Land winery in Richmond Kentucky. So I've been assured by many I have nothing to worry about and I'll do fine.....
